How subscriptions work

Choose the method that matches your calendar app and workflow. You can subscribe by link, download an .ics file for import, or open a feed URL first and follow the client-specific steps from there.

Subscribe by web link

Use Copy URL or the visible URL copy control, then add the HTTPS feed link inside your calendar app’s “subscribe by URL” or “from web” flow.

  • Copy the asset’s HTTPS URL.
  • Open your calendar app’s subscription/import-by-link option.
  • Paste the link and confirm the subscription.

Download and import an .ics file

If your calendar client prefers file import instead of a live feed, use Download File and then import that file into the destination calendar.

  • Click Download File.
  • Save the .ics file locally.
  • Use your calendar app’s import command and choose the file.

Open the URL or use webcal

Open URL lets you inspect the hosted feed directly first. If your calendar client supports it, Subscribe via webcal can hand off straight into the app.

  • Use Open URL to confirm the hosted feed is reachable.
  • Use Subscribe via webcal for clients that recognize that protocol.
  • If webcal is not supported, fall back to the HTTPS subscription URL.
